I watched a particularly dismal recent news story on Youtube that I thought I would share with you in case you were having a good day. I only watched it once, so I am going from memory, so its quite possible I missed or misunderstood something. If so, please feel free to correct.
So it begins with a police reenactment by the husband of a woman who was found drowned near a running body of water, a stream or klong. He is showing the police how he killed her with a chair.
Open and shut case, right?
Until… video emerged showing the 40-something woman, his wife, who was mentally challenged and led an itinerant lifestyle, in or around a convenience store after midnight. Next we see a group of youngish motorcycle-riding thugs, four or five, noticing her and taunting and mocking her. She responded by throwing something at them. Not long after they knocked her down and carried her away on one of their motorcycles. After which they drowned her.
So you might wonder, why would the husband make a false confession to the police? We don’t know, but … the fathers of two of the group were policemen. Probably irrelevant.
