Overstayed while passport in possession by agent

I was hired by a company for work and came in with a tourist visa. Got my 30 days extensions and proceeded to apply Non-B and work permit through a company agent. (Didn’t leave the country – company said it’s doable from Thailand)

My last permitted date stamp was 26th Oct.

Submitted my passport in October and haven’t seen my passport until yesterday. When I finally see my passport in official immigration office, there’s no Non-B visa attached to it.

Generally, I have been overstayed for 50+ days and the passport is currently being hold up at immigration office. (Legal Thai immigration). Apparently, they mentioned pending for missing documents for the application.

I am leave confused as I have been in and out the immigration office numerous times with the same company agent and each time, she gives excuses to come back next week. Even went to labour office and was told the officer was not there to meet.

Immigration also took a picture of my work place with 4 Thais and I thought that was part of the process in November.

As I am aware, you can’t submit for work permit application if you don’t have a Non-B (which is why I am confused why arranging visit to labour office + work place verification etc)

Help needed if you have faced a similar situation.
