One more sleep then my daughter and I will be on a ✈️ for the 2nd time in a year, to the beautiful place that is Thailand!

It almost doesn’t seem real.

A year ago I took my daughter (12) on our first proper Dad and Daughter holiday. I searched Google for best vacation country to take a teenage daughter and it suggested Bali and Thailand.

If I’m honest I wasn’t sure Thailand was suited but I did my research and decided we should take a gamble. Needless to say, we had the best of best times. We spent 11 days together, 9 in Koh Samui, 2 in Bangkok and 2 days flying.

As soon as we got back to the UK we said we wanted to do it again and 364 days later we will be on the plane tomorrow.

Koh Samui (3 nights)
Koh Phangan (2 nights)
Koh Tao (2 nights)
Chiang Mai (1 week)
Bangkok (3 nights)

What! An! Adventure!

But it doesn’t feel real.

I won’t really believe it until I feel that humidity hit me like a hammer.

I won’t believe it until we jump into the warm swimming pools.

I won’t believe it until we are eating some lobster or satay chicken.

I won’t believe it until we are strolling the night markets.

I won’t believe it until I see the sunset.

I won’t believe it until I wake up and see the sunrise.

I won’t believe it until we speak to Thai people and remember what made it so amazing last time.
