My Wife and I are in Thailand and were wondering how all the food we have ordered so far has been completely void of heat.
Massaman, som tum, panang and pad thai to name a few. All ordered in a variety of different road side stalls/shops.
Are we just too white looking? Even asked for stuff to be thai spicy and used Google to translate say ‘please make it hot’ or ‘please add extra chillies’.
How do we get something to be don’t as spicy as its meant to be?
