No charges filed yet after Thai singer/actor crashes into garbage truck, injuring 2

Authorities have not yet filed charges against a popular Thai singer/actor, who crashed his car into a garbage truck and injured two, according to the police.

Pol. Col. Jaturon Anurakbanthit, the superintendent of the Nonthaburi Police Station, said that singer Thanakrit “Wan” Panichwid, known as Wan Thanakrit, did not undergo an alcohol breath test at the scene of the accident because he needed to be sent for a medical examination to assess his injuries.

Wan Thanakrit, a singer and actor who appeared in multiple TV dramas and movies, was driving his Volvo at around 4am on Tuesday along Nonthaburi 13 road on the Tiwanon intersection in Bang Khen when he crashed into a garbage truck belonging to the Nonthaburi Municipality, injuring the two workers situated at the back.
