New restaurant, Thai Rice, opens in Pensacola

Tucked away on the backside of North Davis Highway’s University Town Plaza is a new Thai restaurant that’s built a sterling reputation with Pensacola’s neighbors to the east. 

Replacing The Simple Greek at 7175 North Davis Highway, Suite J, is Thai Rice, the sister restaurant of Fort Walton Beach favorite, Thai Garlic

Thai Rice opened its 50-seat restaurant in mid-February, next door to Taylor’s Breakfast and Lunch. “Simple dishes with significant tastes” is one of the taglines used by the quaint and cozy new restaurant, which specializes in authentic Thai cuisine that sources a lot of its ingredients from the family’s hometown region of central Thailand.
