The country registered 24 more Covid-19 fatalities and 13,182 new cases during the previous 24 hours, the Public Health Ministry announced on Wednesday morning.
This compared with the 17 coronavirus-related fatalities and 10,398 new cases reported on Tuesday morning.
The 24 new fatalities were between the ages of 32 and 95 years old.
Bangkok had six new deaths while there no fatalities in the adjacent provinces.
Other central plain provinces further from the capital recorded five more deaths – two in Ayutthaya and one each in Chon Buri, Nakhon Nayok and Suphan Buri.
