Netflix has appointed Yongyoot Thongkongtoon as Director of Content for Thailand. The Thai industry veteran joins Netflix with over 20 years of experience as a film director, producer and screenwriter.
His highly acclaimed body of work includes “The Iron Ladies” (2000), “The Iron Ladies 2” (2003), “Maid” “(2004), and “Best of Times” (2009). He is also the co-founder of GDH, one of Thailand’s most successful studios which produced the global festival and commercial hit, “Bad Genius” (2017).

With his wealth of experience and deep knowledge of the Thai entertainment industry, we look forward to working together to create stories and ideas that are both uniquely Thai and universally loved.”
