Nestlé Purina invests millions into new facility

BANGKOK — Nestlé announced the opening of its new state-of-the-art Purina Petcare factory located in Rayong, Thailand, of which the company invested 5 billion bhat (about $144 million USD). The new facility will produce wet pet food for the local Thailand market, as well as various international markets.

An increase in consumer demand for premium pet food in Thailand led Nestlé to construct the new facility, which is expected to increase Purina’s production capacity, as well as increase Nestlé’s presence in Thailand’s pet food market.
