Neo Pattaya project revitalises Old Town Naklua with multimillion-baht budget

Pattaya’s deputy mayor, Manoch Nongyai, yesterday oversaw a restoration project at Chalerm Phrakiat Public Park in Old Town Naklua. The initiative is part of the larger Neo Pattaya project, which aims to transform Pattaya into a central hub for commerce and tourism within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) zone. This ambitious endeavour is supported by a multimillion-baht budget, and authorities hope to revitalise Old Town Naklua by highlighting its rich cultural heritage, traditions, and natural beauty through seven sub-projects.

The Neo Pattaya sub-projects include: The construction of a parking building for the tourism product market, with a budget of 96 million baht; the renovation of the fresh seafood market, budgeted at 4.5 million baht; and the improvement of the Chalerm Phrakiat Park, with a budget of 30 million baht.
