I opened my door today with a letter from my neighbour. The letter says that I should stop making noises coz s/he can’t get rest and needs a quiet time. The letter says that neighbour hears a lot of moving object noises from my room and that I shut the door loudly. I am mostly outside work all the time. 6AM-5.30PM. I don’t know what moving object he is talking about I never moved anything in my room and I barely go out when I am home. Though I heard some moving their stuff today and I hear someone bang their door from time to time. But I just brush those off coz it is not something that regularly happens and not too distracting.
I feel so bad that he is accusing me of these things. The only loud noise I admit to make is vacuuming. But I do that during the day and with all windows open so the noise won’t be contained. How should I deal with this situation?
I am so anxious.
