Needing a visa?

I will be visiting Thailand in November, coming from Canada I know I don’t require a visa if I’m staying for less than 30 days. But I can’t seem to find anything about leaving to visit another country and coming back to Thailand (I think I’m planning on back packing around a bit)

If my stays in Thailand are always under 30 days can I just hop between countries and come back or will I run into problems doing that?
