So about 20 or so years ago, when I was but a young man, my family went to Phuket, living near Patong beach. We went on this “elephant trekking / jungle safari.
Leaving Patong, we got picked up by van and drove out to the mountains and ended up by a river, where we went by canoe with the guides. When we reached our destination, we walked through the woods (not deep enough for it to be actual jungle) and ended up by some elephants that we then rode to like a small valley, surrounding a small lake, and a bunch of wood hut bungalows.
Do anybody have an idea where this valley/lake might be? I’m sorry it’s super vague, but I was very young and I really only remember the details mentioned above.
I would love to go back to this amazing valley, hopefully next year. It was an amazing place/view!
