Need advice for a village near Chiang Mai to go with baby

We will be in Chiang Mai soon and want to spend a few nights (1-5 January) in a village outside the city. We have a ten-month-old baby with us who doesn’t like long rides.

Any suggestions for one that is within 2-hour-ride range? Would be best if there is at least one cafe/restaurant, since we already have a big bag and cannot carry groceries along.
