The crew of HTMS Chakri Naruebet have tested negative for Covid-19 after two sailors were earlier found infected with the virus following a visit to a beer garden.
Navy spokesman RrAdm Chettha Jaipiem said on Wednesday that tests on 210 crew quarantined in the reception building at Sattahip naval base in Chon Buri, and 60 others on the ship, showed they were not infected.
They must still complete 14-day quarantine, he said.
The mass testing was done after two of 11 sailors who went to Pah Daeng beer house in Sattahip district were later found to have been infected.
