KANCHANABURI: A Myanmar woman was arrested by soldiers on Wednesday morning for illegal entry through Sangkhlaburi district.
The woman, Dee Se, 36, was caught soon after she slipped through a wire fence at a natural border crossing into Nam Kirk village in tambon Nong Lu.
She held an identification card as an unregistered person issued by the domicile registration office of Sangkhlaburi district on June 25, 2009. It expired on June 24, 2020.
The woman said she lived in Payathonzu township in Myanmar and wanted to visit her two children, who were attending school in tambon Wang Ka.
