Hi everyone, M24 plenty of experience travelling and living in SE Asia.
Moving to Bangkok at beginning of May for 6 months and will be working in the royal district near Dusit.
Rent budget up to 15,000 baht, ideally with access to local restaurants and markets (and would be great if the apartment had a gym). Expecting to commute, and heard good things about staying along Sukhumvit (Phromphong, Asok) but getting to work doesn’t seme very accessible as the BTS line is far from my area of work… perhaps I could use the local bus.
Planning to stay in a hotel for my first couple of weeks and take a walk around and find some apartments that way, but any recommendations for areas to stay or specific apartment buildings are much appreciated.
