Moving to Bangkok and looking for any advice.

Just got accepted to Assumption for my post-grad (education). So will be moving to Bangkok for the foreseeable future. Really just looking for any advice people have on anything. I’ll need to do pretty much everything rent an apartment, cellphone, bills, getting around all that. Would like to live around the university or at least close to, any neighborhood I should look at? I have been living in Asia with my wife for almost 15 years now and have been to Thailand/Bangkok many times before. We both want to settle down and Thailand was our first choice. So thinking a Thai doctoral would be the best if settling there. Also, my wife is Chinese but would like to work, any tips on where she could find a job? Help-wanted sites or anything like that? Thanks
