Moving to Bangkok

I have been offered a job in Bangkok, I’m currently from Sydney Australia. It’s a big decision for me but one I’m definitely open to, I have to make a decision by next week, to make the move around the start of January. My starting salary offered will be 80k baht per month, which will increase to 100k after 6 months. After looking at some places, it seems as if I can find apartments for the 10-15k per month range to rent. The question here is, I can get much better pay here in Sydney but obviously everything is much more expensive here, I’m trying to determine whether it’d be worth it? Any advise from expats or locals about doing a similar move? I actually don’t know what response to expect but any advise would be appreciated!
