Motorbike Taxi Driver Finds and Turns in Over 60,000 Baht in Lost Cash in Pattaya

At 8:30 PM, on January 5th, 2024, Pattaya patrol police received a report of a Good Samaritan collecting lost money at GLOW Hotel, Pattaya Sai Sam Road, Bang Lamung, Chonburi.

According to a report by the Pattaya police, Mrs. Wilailak Pimnoi, a 58-year-old motorbike taxi driver at a stand in front of the GLOW hotel, reported to the Pattaya police after collecting 64,800 baht, in both Thai and Euro currencies, packed inside a plastic bag.


Wilailak said to the police that she noticed an irregular object on the road while she was waiting for passengers in front of the GLOW hotel, she then picked up the plastic bag and found cash in both Thai baht and Euro inside.
Wilailak then reportedly called the Pattaya police to look for the owner of the money as she was worried about the victim’s financial expenses, said the police.
Initially, the Pattaya police kept the assets at the Pattaya City police station and would return it to the rightful owner while reviewing CCTV.
