A total of 42,885 orders were placed for new vehicles at this year’s Bangkok International Motor Show, a 34% increase over the previous year.
According to show organisers, approximately 1.6 million visitors attended the event, which was held from March 22 to April 2 at Challenger Hall, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani. More than 40 automobile and motorcycle brands took part.
Apart from the easing of Covid-19 measures, this year’s display of many new models as well as electric vehicles were significant factors contributing to the attendance increase, organisers said.
