Month-to-month room rental near the water

Hi everyone, I’m travelling down to Phuket at the end of this week (from Chiang Mai) and I’m looking for a clean and basic room rental that gives a monthly option until I get a feel for the island and decide where I want to rent long-term. Rawai area would be great, though open to wherever a long as its near the water. There are plenty of places in CM that are 7,000-10,000 baht per month for a basic room with a fridge that offers a weekly clean and maybe a laundry service, no deposit necessary. Any recommendations?
