Montenegro organizes competitions ‘The laziest person’, but a month has passed and there is still no sign of a winner.

Many times we will hear the phrase: “If you compete with laziness would have won” and now the competition ‘Who is the laziest’ has actually happened.

The ‘laziest person’ competition is held at the Lazy People Festival in the village of Brezna, Montenegro. There is competition. ‘The laziest person’ wins a prize of 900 pounds or about 40,000 baht.

The rules are very simple. It is enough for the contestant to stay in bed for as long as possible. The contestants will receive 3 meals, be able to go to the bathroom every 8 hours, 10 minutes at a time, and the contestants’ health will be monitored periodically.

The competition was first launched in 2001 to celebrate and mock the claim that Montenegrin people are the laziest people in the Balkans. There were contestants from many countries, including Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, as well as Russia and Ukraine.

This year, the competition started on August 19th. And there were 21 people participating in the competition. So far, 30 days have passed and there are still 5 contestants left, and it looks like this competition is not going to end easily.
