Bank of Thailand says biometric scans will be required for high-value transactions
Bank of Thailand governor Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput says banks must adjust their systems by June to require biometric scans for mobile transactions of 50,000 baht or more.
Biometric scans will be required for high-value mobile banking transactions as part of measures to protect consumers from cyber-risks, according to the Bank of Thailand.
