Police confirmed this afternoon that a body recovered from the Chao Phraya River belonged to a male model who went missing two days ago.
Capt. Yokin Kenyapat of Pak Khlong San police said Thursday afternoon that the body of Kullapat “Kendo” Pongpraphap was retrieved near the Ratchawong Pier in Bangkok, two days after he went missing from his home.
The police said they are investigating. Kendo’s body was sent for autopsy.
Kendo, 26 and of Thai-Japanese heritage, appeared on the covers of Elle Men, Hamburger, Lips and other fashion magazines. In his last Instagram post on Dec. 26, he was dressed in a futuristic style for a One Siam campaign.
