Mido revives a vintage icon

In a nod to its illustrious past, Mido has brought back its recognisable TV-shaped case for the Multifort TV Big Date line, 50 years after it was first introduced. Kim Soo-hyun, an Asian brand ambassador, and Franz Linder, CEO, attended a red-carpet event at the Park Hyatt Bangkok.

Designed in the style of a vintage archetypal, the Multifort TV Big Date watch boasts a stunning dial with a dégradé appearance that fades to black. The display at 12 o’clock is driven by the remarkable, modern automatic Caliber 80 movement, which has a cutting-edge balancing spring in Nivachron that provides exceptional shock and magnetic field resistance.
