Hey, so I did something incredibly stupid which I don’t normally do.
I was walking on the skywalk and a middle eastern man. About 60ish and his (presumably) daughter were looking lost. I just walked past them and he asked me if I’m from Thailand. I said no. I continued walking and he asked where I am from. I answered and he showed me a stack of USD 100s and asked if he can see my country money notes and I still have no clue why I did.
And he put his hand in my wallet and looked.
I checked and nothing seems to be missing. I haven’t gotten any credit card spend alerts. But I can’t help but feel this could have been a set up.
I usually just walk away. But I really have no clue why I stopped and entertained him.
Anyone experienced something similar ?
