Leave US 10/15 arrive BKK 10/17
10/17 – 10/19 BKK. Not really interested in spending much time in the city. Mostly just looking for a little time to adjust from jet lag.
10/20 – 10/27 Chiang Mai. Exploring old city, a day trip or two, a cooking class. Maybe an overnight stay in Rai.
10/28 – 11/1 Koh Phangan. No real plans here. Just enjoying the beaches/atmosphere. I’m pretty sure a full moon happens in that time frame. Not a big partier but thought I’d check out the party since I’ll be there anyway.
11/2 – 11/3 BKK. Wanting to stay at a hotel for a night before departing for home on 11/3.
Additional info: Read a post on here that 7 days in Chiang Mai isn’t really needed. Planning on taking flights between destinations to save time. I talked to someone who suggested taking the overnight train to Chiang Mai but it’s really long and I’m not sure I’m interested in more extended travel after the long flight from the US. Open to suggestions and adjustments.
