Thailand’s art scene continues to grow, and one of the newest faces to watch for is Anna Chekh, a contemporary multimedia artist from Ukraine who left behind a promising career in advertising to become a full-time artist based in Hua Hin.
When I meet with Ukrainian-born artist Anna Chekh at Chim Chim, the Siam@Siam Design Hotel’s art-focused lobby level restaurant, she’s wearing black jeans, a black crop top, and a colourful mangosteen patterned blouse top which I immediately recognise from the recently released Jim Thompson x Goh-M collection.
