Thai Randolph is the CEO of Kevin Hart’s global media company Hartbeat. Last year, she raised $100M in private equity funding in a deal that merged Hart’s two entertainment companies, HartBeat Productions and Laugh Out Loud.
As a Black woman, Randolph is passionate about using her position to create opportunities for women of color. At Hartbeat, Randolph launched the Women Write Now comedic screenwriting fellowship alongside WWN cofounder and Hartbeat’s head of film Candice Wilson Cherry. WWN is now opening the call for submissions for its third session on April 26. The fellowship offers mentorship, advocacy, production, and exhibition to its winners.
