Matty Healy gets weird for explosive set

A nude Matty Healy lay in the fetal position at the back of the arena, lifted on a stage of bright green moss. It was unclear whether the unmoving singer was meant to be recently born, deceased, or in some other state of unconsciousness.

Whatever the intention, the crowd was confused, as the enigmatic frontman was seen on the Prudential Center main stage — at the front of the room— only moments before. Did he teleport, shedding his button-down and slacks in molecular transit?

A minute later, a fully clothed and very much alive Healy climbed onto the grassy rear stage, examining his motionless, dummy self. As far as life-sized facsimiles of tattooed British musicians go, this one was very convincing.

The real Healy laid down next to his faux clone, gently kissing it before it descended into the stage, completing the unsettling dreamscape.
