Recently got to Thailand and have been trying to use Tops, grab, bolt services but struggling with adding my credit cards to these services.
I’m from Canada and have a couple Mastercards that don’t have foreign exchange fees (BRIM and Amazon Mastercard). Both cards work in store without any issue.
When I try to add these cards to services, all these cards don’t add successfully or were added, worked once, then stopped working, and are no longer able to be added to the services again.
I believe it has something to do with 2C2P which looks to be the payment processor for these online transactions. I’ve phoned both CC companies and there are no blocks on my cards.
I also have a Wise Visa which is a prepaid visa which seems to work without any issue but it is prepaid and has a small fee (~0.5%) compared to the Mastercard so trying to get the Mastercards working.
Anyone have insights or similar experiences?
