THE Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) has signed a memorandum of partnership and cooperation (MPC) with the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce and Thailand Management Association to facilitate trade and business deals in member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean).
The MPC also aims to share best management practices; undertake education, information activities and training programs that can enhance knowledge and skills of management practitioners and future leaders; and advocate for reforms that will improve the ease of doing business in Asean countries.
“The bottom line is recovery and growth — and these two are shared goals that can transcend shifting alliances,” MAP President Benedicta Du-Baladad said in a statement on Tuesday.
