Man Utd Thailand supporters’ club to mark 10th anniversary at Manchester derby

There are no direct flights from Bangkok (the club’s headquarters), so when they do make it over to England’s North West, Pete and co make sure it’s worthwhile. On this trip, they’ll stay for seven nights, taking in the derby, the Under-21s’ EFL Trophy trip to Salford City on Tuesday, then Wednesday’s Carabao Cup tie against Newcastle.

“Every time we go to Manchester, I like to support the youth team, because it’s one of the pillars of the club,” Warinsee enthuses. 

We’re sure Sir Bobby would approve of that sentiment, given his legendary ties with our Academy. He knew a fair bit about United’s huge global support too. The upcoming Manchester derby will be dominated by thoughts of the great man, but how wonderful it will be to have the Thai Reds here, as we congratulate them on a decade within the United family.
