Looking for Artist We Met in Chiang Mai Night Market in 2017ish

Hey friends, I’m on a very ambitious mission to locate the artist that created my most prized possession: a painting of my dog. I had seen an awesome post on Reddit a few years before I took a trip to Thailand of an artist doing psychedelic pet portraits but was disappointed to find they wanted absurd prices for a commission.

Cut to me wandering the night market (near a hotel called Vipa House if that helps) in Chiang Mai and seeing a painter that was selling a lot of the common colorful pop art pieces of the time – monkeys with headphones, trippy elephants, etc – but he also had a couple photos of colorful pet portraits pinned to his easel. I asked him if they were commissions and he said yea, so I gave him a source photo and the next night I had the most awesome piece of art ever known to man.

Anyway, I was hoping someone, anyone would be able to help me find this genius. I would love to have his contact info so I can ask him to paint our new pup, and literally everything else. At the time (about 5 years ago) he seemed to be in his early 30s and had a wife and young kid (daughter I think) that would occasionally be hanging around his stall when I stopped by to check out his progress. His stall at that time was off of the street, but in a ground-level plaza with a bunch of other similar stalls and (I think?) a stage for performances. He was not on the street or in one of the below ground plazas. I know he’s likely moved by now, but I figured I’d add what little I know. I’m hoping the style of the painting in the photo, and more importantly his signature that I can’t quite read, will be the real helpers.
