Hello
I am traveling back to India (Indian passport holder) in a week from Tokyo via Thai airlines. The layover at BKK is 16hours and I was thinking of using this time to go to Bangkok city to get some good rest and food.
For this purpose, do I need a transit visa? Or can I simply get a visa on arrival? The flights are on a single ticket only on thai airlines. I just dont want to sit in the airport for 16hours (I hate airports).
Please advise on whether VoA is sufficient for this purpose. I read about transit visa but guess too late to get it.
