I’ve been in Chiang Mai for about a month. Loving relaxing, market, bombing my mountain bike down the mountain. I’ve come across some live music at the markets and restaurants, but tepid with mediocre quality. So where’s the good stuff. I’m a huge music fan, meaning that I believe there is great music in every genre, you just have to find it.
I was raised on 70s AM country, weened on punk, psychedelic used on Grateful Dead and blissed on electronica. So don’t worry to much about genre, good is good. Be specific, bands, nights, times, spots, festivals. I have done some facebooks searches for groups but didn’t find much, so let me know what ya got!
