In just a couple of weeks, the biggest prize money in Thailand’s sporting history will be up for grabs in Asia’s first LIV Golf event.
Everybody will have his or her own opinion on golf’s big elephant in the room situation and the conflict between the PGA Tour/DP World Tour and LIV Golf and I’m not going to add my tuppence worth on this hotly contested issue.
However, the opportunity of taking in the new event, on our doorstep, is one that should be greeted enthusiastically by every golfer and golf fan here in Thailand.
A new course called Stonehill located in Pathum Thani, just outside Bangkok, will be hosting the event from Oct 7-9 and recently I was invited to view this wonderful new Thai golf course.
