Loy Krathong, often referred to as the Festival of Lights, is more than just a celebration—it’s a grand expression of gratitude to Ganga, the water goddess, for the vital role water plays in Thai culture. This annual event takes place on the night of the full moon in the 12th month of the traditional Thai lunar calendar, which this year falls on November 27.
