Homegrown leather accessory brand Deadly Ponies started life in Liam Bowden’s garage in 2005. Their first offerings included jewellery and wallets made from leather offcuts. With no formal training in bag-making or fashion, you’ve got to admire Bowden’s guts.
After fifteen years of designing, making and retailing accessories, Bowden is still hands-on at Deadly Ponies, but those hands are now more knowledgeable and refined. He has an extended work family around him, including his husband, Steven Boyd, and Deadly Ponies is now one of our most recognised and loved brands.
