Less air pollution today in Bangkok, cooler next week for most of Thailand

A strong cold front from China is forecast to blanket the north and northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea from Sunday until the middle of next week. This will cause temperatures in most of Thailand to drop, except in the south which will continue to see more rain.

According to the Meteorological Department, the mercury will steadily drop from Sunday and it will be windy until the cold front weakens in the middle of next week and temperatures gradually pick up.

Minimum temperatures in the north and northeast today range from 19-21oC and 18-22oC respectively. In the central region, minimum temperatures range from 22-24oC while in Bangkok and vicinity, lowest temperatures range from 24-26oC.
