Lauv to return to Bangkok in August

The American singer-songwriter comes back for the fourth time

It wasn’t that long ago when Lauv, whose real name is Ari Staprans Leff, performed his third gig in Thailand as a headliner at Very Festival last November where he performed ‘Paris In The Rain’ with actual rain and got distracted by a frog when he performed ‘Hey, Ari’ acoustically.

Lauvers in Thailand don’t have to wait long as he’s set to return to Bangkok for another show on August 26 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Lauv announced his “The Between Albums Tour” this morning, which so far covers major cities in Japan, China, Indonesia, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

Lauv is best known for his breakout hits Breathe, I Like Me Better and Paris In The Rain, the second of which earns well over 1.5 billion streams on Spotify, from the early years of his career but he also deliver memorable collabs with Troy Sivan in I’m So Tired…, Lany in Mean It, Conan Gray in Fake and more.

His sophomore effort titled All 4 Nothing, was released last August and spawned hits like All 4 Nothing (I’m So In Love), Stranger and Kids Are Born Stars while he continues to share with his fans his mental health journey and champions the cause, releasing Sad Forever in time for Mental Health Awareness Month 2019. An accomplished songwriter in his own right, he has penned songs for the likes of Charli XCX, Backstreet Boys and Celine Dion.

His upcoming gig in Bangkok will take place at ballroom halls 1-4 of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, which is thankfully conveniently accessible via the MRT. The pre-sale of all standing tickets for Live Nation Tero members starts on May 5 at bit.ly/lauvpsbkk. The general ticket sale starts on the following day at bit.ly/lauvbkk2023. There are three tiers of tickets priced at B1,800, B2,300 and B2,800, respectively.

Regarding Lauv’s touring history in Thailand, he performed for the first time as the opening act for Ed Sheeran at Impact Arena in 2017 before he had his first solo show in Bangkok in 2019. His last gig was headlining Very Festival last November. The more you know.
