Kingdom hoping to make futsal history

Thailand’s Suphawut Thuenklang celebrates scoring a goal against the Solomon Islands.

Thailand are looking forward to making history by beating Kazakhstan to reach the quarter-finals of the Fifa Futsal World Cup in Lithuania on Thursday.

The game at Kaunas Arena will be televised live on PPTV HD at 9.30pm.

It is Thailand’s third successive appearance in the last-16 round of the Futsal World Cup and they are confident that they will advance to the last eight for their best-ever finals result.

“We are ready for the match against Kazakhstan,” Thailand coach Rakphol Sainetngarm said on Wednesday.

“We only have one injured player in Muhammad Ousmanmusa.
