Khlong Toei: Gunfire leaves teacher dead and another critically wounded

An eruption of gunfire in Bangkok‘s Khlong Toei district this morning resulted in one fatality and left another individual critically wounded.

The incident took place in front of a TMBThanachart Bank (TTB) branch situated on Sunthornkosa Road.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered two gravely injured individuals and a knife. Eyewitnesses recounted how two men had fired upon a group of university students following a disagreement. The attackers are believed to have made their escape on a motorcycle, heading towards Rama 4 Road.

A motorcycle taxi driver who had observed the unfolding events relayed to the police that the two assailants had parked close to a group of four to five university students waiting at a nearby bus stop. The individual riding pillion approached one of the students, brandishing a firearm at his head.
