Kay Klo is the new executive director of the Midtown Utica Community Center (MUCC). After graduating from Mt. Holyoke College and completing a Fulbright scholarship in Thailand, Klo returned to Utica, where she wanted to serve her community. She has been a member of MUCC since 2015, and has served as assistant director and counselor at MUCC.
In her new role, Klo has oversight over programming, finances, the maintenance of the physical space, and its large team of dedicated volunteers. She oversees various committees, meets with the board of directors, and leads the grant-writing and fund-raising efforts.
