Thai national team cyclist Jutatip Maneephan won the first stage of the Women’s Tour of Thailand 2022 yesterday.
Jutatip crossed the line in 2:12.06 hours after a 85.12km route which started and finished in Mukdahan.
Bui Thi Quynh from Vietnam and Pannaray Rasee, another rider of the Thai national team, were second and third respectively although they both finished in 2:12.06.
“I am very happy to win today,” said Jutatip.
“My teammates and coaches did a good job.
“I will try to retain the yellow jersey [for the leader] until the final day.”
The champion will receive the trophy graciously donated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri…
