Women’s doubles pair Jongkolphan Kititharakul and Rawinda Prajongjai bowed out of the US$2.5 million BWF World Tour Finals after losing their second straight match in Hangzhou, China, yesterday.
The Thai duo were beaten by South Korea’s Baek Ha-Na and Lee So-Hee, who recorded their second successive win in Group B 21-15, 21-15.
Baek and Lee will meet Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida of Japan in the final group match of the season finale today.
Matsuyama and Shida, who defeated Jongkolphan and Rawinda on Wednesday, also claimed their second win in the group, beating Kim So-Yeong and Kong Hee-Yong of South Korea 21-13, 21-14.
