Join a temple tour in honour of a king

Siam Society is holding a study trip to visit four renowned Buddhist temples in Bangkok that were commissioned by King Mongkut.

Prince Mongkut was born in 1804. He was the grandson of King Rama I, the founder of the Chakri dynasty, and the son of King Rama II, who ascended the throne in 1809. Prince Mongkut was the king’s eldest son by the queen.
