Jet Ski World Cup starts tomorrow, January 12th, on Jomtien Beach, strict Covid-19 rules in place

Jomtien/Pattaya-

  The 2021-2022 Jet Ski World Cup will run from January 12th to January 16th on Jomtien Beach, regardless of the current concerns around Omicron, a fast-spreading Covid-19 variant, in Banglamung.

The event is going ahead with permission from the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand, a major sponsor.

About one hundred racers will be competing with many top racers from around the world who will have gone through very strict Covid-19 precautions, tests, and measures according to the Tourism and Sports Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn. All racers and vendors will also go through extensive Covid-19 testing.

The event is being held outside across from the Jomtien Night Market. Spectators (At least at the main stage area) will be required to show proof of vaccination AND take a rapid Covid-19 test according to…
