Japan to let non-resident foreigners enter in ‘exceptional circumstances’

Ukrainians who have fled the war in their country arrive at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport in Tokyo on Tuesday. Japan will lift its entry ban on non-resident foreign nationals from 106 countries including Thailand, Britain, India and the United States starting from Friday, but only in “exceptional circumstances”.
